Microsoft Office Software
Are you a computer geek? Okay, don't get the wrong idea. I admit I'm somewhat of a nerd when it comes to computers. Or at least I would like to be. You see, being computer savvy in today's world is a great advantage. These high-tech machines are used for literally everything. Can you even ponder a job that doesn't require computers at all? I don't think I can. Well okay, maybe a lumberjack. Actually they most likely use computers to some extent as well. Anyway, the point is, having computer knowledge in advantageous now days. Where did you receive your computer education? I'll bet you acquired some knowledge regarding microsoft office software along the way.

Microsoft Office XP
I am a Microsoft office xp user. Years ago I used WordPerfect. In my Unix geek days, I just used vi – those who are fellow geeks will understand. But the question is, why do I use it. I am a Microsoft office XP user because the rest of the world is. It has become the standard for office productivity.

2003 Microsoft Office

I've tried a variety about word processors. Word perfect, Microsoft Word, 2003 Microsoft Office, and several others have all been on my computer at times. In addition, of course, I've used notepad, word pad, and all of the other junk usefully included with windows. But above all, I think I like Open Office.

Portable Projection Screens
I work in a big office building, and the one thing that people will always tell you about big office buildings: trends reach epidemic proportions. If you work with five to ten people, I fad passes in 1 week, or two weeks tops. But in an office with 65 people just in the main department, like we have, you can be stuck as a helpless thrall to the latest management craze for six months to a year, or even more.

Computer Flat Screens

It’s all about computer flat screens these days.  I recently dumped my old CRT monitor (not easy by the way, CRT screens are considered hazardous waste and you have to use a municipal collection service to do it legally) and picked up my first computer flat screen and I’m just loving it.  I can’t believe I waited so long to make the plunge; it has made such a huge difference for me.

CRT Monitor

So, it’s 2006 and you’re still using a CRT monitor for your computer, hmm?  Well, its okay, you’re not the only one.  Even though there are newer technologies available today, CRT monitors are still the most popular form of video display for computers.  But just barely.  Probably within the next two years they will be replaced as a standard by one of the newer technologies, such as LCD or plasma television screens.

Data Recovery Programs

Personally, I find data recovery programs to be useless. The point is to protect your data so that you don't need data recovery programs in the first place, and doing this is not that hard if you take a few appropriate steps. Of course, I didn't always understand this. Like most people, I trusted in my computer, as if it were some kind of infallible magic box which could safe guard, in perfection and perpetuity, all of my data. The sad truth was that this was not the case.
